Sorry chaps, but this just isn’t very good. It’s Radio2-a-gogo, medium in all senses and at its best it has still been done better by Richard Hawley.
Mathematics, People Help the People, the title track and 4am are all pretty good but the rest has realised my worst fears: medium, medium, medium.
Meh.

my condolences. i suppose the only consolation is that your gut feeling was right–i refer to comments you made in one of your podcasts about the possibility of the rest of their stuff not living up to the song you included. at least, i think that’s what you said. : )
Yeah, I know I saw it coming a little, but it’s still a little disappointing.
The only tracks I’d made it through were “Thirst for Romance” and “4 am” which you just mentioned, which I really enjoyed… guess that was for good reason.
