Little Miss Pipe Dream is ace. They certainly seem to have the knack of catchiness to a level in advance of their peers, that's for sure. It's just not a style of music I am overly enamoured with in general that's all. Some great things though, and excellent live too.

I'm not sure why, because aside from their singer they're not much different than a lot of other bands at present, but I really love the Wombats. And I had a good giggle at how seriously the lyrics to this song are sung!

Plus, "Little Miss Pipe Dream" makes me want to hug things.

No I didn't. That does sound rather special. Because I've only ever seen him on music videos, swaying about in an pharmaceutically induced stupor I have always assumed that Bez is a bit thick. Is this not the case then?

I actually like the Wombats, and Simon's been singing this song all week. I do like it a bit more with the video, though.

Speaking of the Happy Mondays, did you happen to catch Bez on whotsits new quiz show 'Don't Call Me Stupid', trouncing a royal etiquette expert? Bless.

aww, I love the wombats! I also enjoy songs with references to other bands too, so all in all they did a good job. you know, being themselves and putting a band name in their song. I'm easily pleased.
