As above, cheap laughs but oh so funny. I must add my own photos from Hong Kong to one of these sites. I particularly like my one of a grocery store called Fuck Lee and there's a HK-wide clothes chain for middle-aged women called Wanko. Such fun.

Mr. T,

Stalking around your personal website I immediately discovered one of those spelling tics you so dislike.

On your front page, where you run your mouse arow over the family link, the useful text info pops up thus:

photos from out wedding

"Here, crippie, take my seat"

Oh my.

Speaking of Engrish, not sure if you've got an equivalent on the other side of the Atlantic, but over here we've got these great stores like Tuesday Morning and Morning Glory, which sell cheap stationary and Sanrio-type school supplies marked with great Engrish. I went to Hawaii once and found stationary with a picture of a cat on each page, with the caption: "My name is Sleepyhead. My friends call me Coma." I sent a letter to the editor of The Big Takeover on that stationary but he never responded.

Engrish.com is, frankly, awfully weak, patronisingly base humour at best — but, nonetheless, fucking hilarious when captured just right/wrong. I've tried my hardest (even that might get me in trouble) to fit (& that) finding happiness in a "baby's fanny" into some crass gigglesome sign off, but I know bedlam will ensue from some corner — so I'll remain tight lipped.

:o)

O for fuck sake. As Vampire Weekend would say, "Don't give a fuck about your Oxford Comma." Now see what you've gone and made me do? That's two fucks in one comment (no! three now!). You're a bad influence and an instigator of transatlantic tension, and I frankly think regime change might be order at Toad Hall. I intend to speak to my Congressman first thing on Monday.

Gotta love Robert Wyatt by the way.
