Sure, I’m gonna do my best to interview them too – BUT the venue they’re playing is notorious for putting bands on late (like 10pm first act) & I have to be at the airport for 4am for a gruelling journey to NY. & I’ll need to sleep by that point as I am thus far cunting exhausted. I’ll see, however, what I can do like.

They played Glasgow recently but for some reason I don’t really remember I couldn’t make it. Annoying, because I’d have loved to see them. I think I may catch them at one of the festivals this summer though.

Re: Saturday and Sunday nights: excuse me while I slap myself repeatedly for stupidly leaving Edinburgh a week ago. Then again, it is gloriously sunny and beautiful here…at least that’s how I’m trying to comfort myself! I hope your hangover on Friday from all the JD wasn’t too intense.

Good to hear about Meursault’s budding success Caledoniaside. Hopefully this means there’ll soon be a get-their-feet-wet tour of certain key east coast cities in the States? In a mere 8 hours I will be enveloped in the warm and (no doubt) fragrant arms of the Felice Brothers. Chuffed, did you say? Well, count me chuffed, buffed, stuffed, and sodomuffed.

You’re having some sort of record launch night?

You kept that quiet.

All in all a pretty good week, despite everything seeming to clash with everything else.

Also, did you see Meurault got a rather nice write up in the Scotsman at the weekend?
