I've just received a couple more demos, so I'll have a listen to those too, but it sounds rather promising to me. It's actually very liike some of the ultra low-fi electronica you hear coming out of the Fence Collective at times. This has a great Talking Heads / Material / Eno vibe, especially Song For Suzy and Ow... They sound kind of like demos for My Life In The Bush of Ghosts or David Byrne's score for The Catherine Wheel ballet. Philosophy For Fans sounds more like Cornelius. Quite ingenious I think. Just to reinforce the point that it's all about subjective taste, I will say that Ow.. is my favorite. Hm.
