It was probly just being shit again. John Egdell write rather lovely indie pop songs. Last time he was in Edinburgh it was supporting Kathryn Williams. He's very cuddley. I've been excited about all the retreat shows for various (and often obvious) reasons, but these last two especially as they feature people who there's very rarely an opportunity to see (John and Royal Edinburgh Music).
