I've yet to find any wrong with them. On the other hand, I once read a review that compared Hamilton's voice to a dying Katharine Hepburn, or something of the sort (can't imagine where that came from), and though I want to defend him, I do giggle a bit when I hear Hepburn's voice... Also, Paul Maroon's got the most magnificent guitar, so if anyone knows what he plays, do speak up! Even <i>Bows + Arrows</i> left me cold. I have the same problem with the National. Everyone got all excited about <i>The Boxer</i> last year and so I tentatively bought it , and just as I suspected it lived down to my expectations. I really didn't get it at all. Perhaps it's a matter of brain-wiring. These tunes sound OK, I guess, but they give me no tickle whatsoever in my nucleus accumbens, and without a tickle in the nucleus accumbens what the hell have you got?
