Saw Lykke Li at Thekla Bristol. Great if too short (60 mins on the dot) show. Bags of charisma and energy.

Pity you wont get too see Bristol’s dancing Bear who forced her too leave the stage in hysterics afeter the first song and then get into the audience and perform the Kwassa Kwassa.

The Aliens are actually very good live, better than their albums suggest, and I’d really like to see NAO but it is a bit pricey.

The over 14s status of the Lykke Li gig is putting me off a bit, being an old c*nt – though I like quite a few songs off her album. I’m not quite sure what makes it a “paedo show” though as you refer to teenage boys lusting after her rather than the other way round and surely she’s a grown woman?

The Aliens are being supported by North Atlantic Oscillation, who are well worth a look. Though I’m sure they’ll be doing other gigs that don’t cost £14 (or whatever the Aliens show is).

Zoey Van Goey you really need to check out. Though I’ll probably be going to the Found/Jmaes Pants show that night.

Rags & Feathers are great live.

And I’ve never demanded anything of anyone.

I don’t like The Aliens, and I am not all that keen on Rags & Feathers actually, although I can imagine they would be good live. Zoey Van Goey I actually know nothing about at all, but I doubt I’ll make it on Thursday.

Actually Bart, if you were still hungover two days later, you’d be demanding sympathy you little ginger weasel.

Here’s my two cents worth:

Rags & Feathers are playing Acousitc Edinburgh tonight at the Medina. And it’s free.
I’ve not got a copy of the album yet, so will try and head along.

Also, the Aliens playing the Liquid Rooms on Thursday?
Also also Thursday Zoey Van Goey at Heriott Watt uni.
