Spot-on review. Personally, I typically derisively dismiss this sort of banality. Typically. But I find myself so much so liking Passion Pit. Especially "Cuddle Fuddle". Though no one outside of this post will ever know that, as I've made a solemn vow to never utter the phrase "Cuddle Fuddle" aloud.

Perhaps. Certainly I am glad this album is short. Partly, I just love short albums (or long EPs, whatever you call them) but also I agree that it might become a little much after seventy minutes. But that's what I like about recent musical output - dismally long albums that outstay their welcome are pleasingly rare these days.

Sleepyhead I enjoyed. Within the first 10 seconds or so it put me in a similar place to The Avalanches' "Since I Left You", which is a happy place.

The first track just went on a tad too long for comfort though. It's weird, almost everything that grated here (queasily sliding electronic bleeps, whoah-sudden chorus vocals) was also present in Sleepyhead, but what worked for 2.5 minutes wasn't sustainable for 6 minutes.
