That is great news indeed. 4AD are just about the best indie label out there and it gives them a brilliant start. Can’t wait to hear the album, I wonder which songs they’ll put on it? That is rhetorical internal monologue, no need to reply.

Man, I am well jealous, this is about as good as it gets really. Same label as Beirut, TVOTR, Deerhunter, Dept of Eagles, Scott Walker… mind-blowing.

And the studio sounds frickin amazing – I think, oddly perhaps, Definitely Maybe was recorded at the same place.

Excellent news. First saw them supporting Emma Pollock 18 months ago, and then saw them supporting idlewild and sons & daughters at other gigs. 4AD is definitely the right sort of label for them!

my word, this is good news! if only they'd signed to 4AD sooner then they could have been part of the Dark Was The Night compilation. And if only Tart hadn't sullied the whole thing with a bloody f*ck*ng c*nt*ng lolcat...
