I also don't think it's such a bad thing that the recordings and live versions differ, it's nice to see a band give a bit more and play around with the songs live. Thing is, good as these recordings are, they still haven't captured the raucous intensity and explosive dynamism of the live show. Not wishing to blow my own trumpet, but I was really pleased with the set of <a href="http://bluebackhotrod.com/category/woodenbox-with-a-fistful-of-fivers/" rel="nofollow">photos</a> I got of them at The Wee Red. Luckily, these were taken before they recruited their new piano player. This band really are great, despite the piano player.
