The TOTP thing I think comes mainly from the wall of screens at the back of the stage. I’ve only been to one gig there so far, Withered Hand, and it’s a bit odd for folky type stuff I guess. Really good show though, and a fun evening so…

Jesus for fifteen quid you can get blown in saunas across the city. That’s a bit steep for out of tune I Will Survive.

I’m in Dubai airport at the mo. Dubai is a fucking shithole and no mistake. I bet the electric circus decorator worked here.

Tims comparison to the TOTP set intrigues me. In a good way Hopefully get along tomorrow night anyway to see for myself.

somebody told me that to hire one of the little kareoke rooms at electric circus its £15 per person per hour! can that really be true?

oh yeah i forgot, in my shameless plug, to say that the bands kick off around 10.30 tomorrow night at electric circus (which is beautifully unique and brightly decorated) so nobody need miss them even if they’re off to a 7pm gig elsewhere…sorry, i’ll stop now. but do come, it’ll be fun…

how could you forget about us!!! zoey van goey, endor, djs till beyond reasonable hours for a tuesday and not only that but folks that come down early for the jp and danny’s quiz get to stay for the gig for free!!! there are prizes and everything. oh and drinks promos from 5pm…

so matthew…you better get yourself a team together and be there by 8pm to partake and make up for your horrendous oversight!!! x
