Yup, got it, thanks so much. Address emailed - really looking forward to the album.

I know what you mean about breaks, too. I am out of holidays for the entire rest of the year. De. Press. Ing.

(Incidentally, Leo's Dad, that was just me joking, by the way - I actually think it's very cool that you commented. My folks do the same from time to time and it makes me laugh, but it a good way. I must get better at not making smart remarks to strangers who may not know my sense of humour well enough to know that I'm not being all that serious!)

Is Leo's dad commenting on this post as embarrassing as my dad wishing me luck on the first ever post on the Song, by Toad Records site? It must be close.

And my mum sending me messages on my first radio show saying how much she loved Withered Hand's Religious Songs. I doubt she'd listened to all the lyrics properly...

Mind you, I've asked about the album with the PR chap but no luck yet. Another press friend of mine has one though, so I can always borrow that. He loves it, which is a good sign.

In answer to the guitar droolers, I love Leo's Teisco Del Rey, and it does the guitar solo. And their new album's definitely worth getting hold of.

We really should just hold up the van next time they're on tour - they'll never guess it's us.

This sort of sound isn't really my normal cup of tea, but I think they've made rather a good job of this.

I'm not sure, Matthew, but I think that's a Gretsch Anniversary with a Bigsby B6 tremolo, if you're thinking of going shopping.

I quite like that green Jag myself.

Stunning. One of the best things I've heard in ages. The sound of great Scottish-pop from the mid 80s with a 21st century twist.

Cheers amigo
