What about people with no money? like me.

I'm going to be absolutely struggling to get a ticket for Homegame alone. Dylan makes a good point. I have presents to buy and shit.

Pickathon dates are out for 2010 and tickets go on sale (first release) on Dec 6th (festival is August 6-8, 2010).

So if anyone fancies hauling ass to the Pacific Northwest, camping in the heart of the woods and listening to music while a horse munches contentedly three feet away on the other side of the barn, ROAD TRIP!

or, AIR TRIP!

After this year's Homegame, I really don't want to go to any festivals that aren't Homegame. It was just so lovely!

Festivals........I can't get behind them. I have to side with Matthew on the 'hating people' front. Seeing all them humans together makes you realise just how unimportant an individual is. Of course, it could also be interpreted as people joining together into one glorious living, breathing organism....if you are a hippy. I personally keep expecting Agent Smith out of the Matrix to pop up and accuse us of being viruses and complain about our stink before punching us into the sky.

To be honest, I can't comment. I have only been to ONE. And it was Wickerman and we were playing at some godawful hour. First thing in the afternoon at 12pm I think it was. And getting there the night before was a nightmare. I had my then girlfriend with me at the time. That may have been part of the problem actually. The rest of the Foxx got hammered and wandered around causing chaos (the details of which I cannot reveal) while I tried in vain to get some sleepage. Minimal sleepage occurred. *sigh* After the gig was good though. I only saw about two bands though. Sitting on a van in the sun seemed too good an opportunity to miss. Ok - festivals are good then. I have changed my mind. Christ, what a load of wank I just typed. Cool.

Homegame tickets out on December 1st?

Well there goes the Christmas shopping budget!

It's okay. My mum didn't really want anything this year anyway.
