But I promised Matthew I wouldn't do that anymore. I think it is the vocal that put me off. Whilst the Bon Iver effect continues to force musicians into cabins in order to satisfy the requirements of the press release, I thought The Low Anthem album Oh my God, Charlie Darwin was one of the undoubted treats of the year. It was also an interesting variation on a theme, as their deserted cabin was by the sea, as opposed to in the hills. Neat.
