Toadcast #113 – The Anstercast
We’re in Anstruther this weekend for Homegame, and so we got incredibly pissed late at night and recorded a podcast for you all, just as a special extra Sunday Supplement.
This should give you a taste of our Homegame fun and, sadly, also an idea of just how much of a wreck we all make of ourselves in Fife once a year.
Honestly, this is my favourite festival in the fucking universe, possibly only equalled by Pickathon, which is incredibl e.

*ahem* ‘Some R Kelly cover’…????
That would be ‘Remix to Ignition’
fucking amazing. Do more podcasts drunk please.
“Dylan, could you boil the kettle at some other point please?”
i met that guy colin. very nice and funny person indeed.
This is the first time I’ve properly heard any Silver Columns stuff and having dismissed it on first listen I’d like to grab that statement and take it right back. That song is brilliant.
Wish the schedule had worked better for this and I could’ve seen Silver Columns and Cold Seeds. Ah well, fucking brilliant weekend.
Sounds like you had a blast. Im really into the Cold Seeds material from what Neils played to me and shall be buying the album when I can. Barts been threatening to cover that R Kelly no for a while. Dream realised. Utter genius.
Very gutted I couldn’t make it up to Fife this year but it is reassuring to hear that the drinking has been taken care of. Funnily yesterday at the Grizzly Bear gig in London I bumped into Jozi Plain and little French François who had just driven down from Anstruther to play a small opening show at the bar of the Roundhouse. So it was almost like being there. Apart from the seals.
Silver Columns were an absolute blast, but I am gutted I missed that brilliant R Kelly cover, great to hear it anyway.
And Dylan, can I put an advance order in for one of your schedules for next year please!
I think my hangover has finally cleared. Just. I still feel fucking spent though.
Valentine – real shame you couldn’t make it. People were asking after you!
