Toadcast #203 – The Lardcast

Bleerch, bleurgh…  I feel completely disgusting. I had a really good sleep last night, but that translated into a day spent wasting my time fannying about and just lolling in that way that seems like a good idea at the time, but invariably ends up making you feel completely disgusting by the end.

Also, to make matters worse, we ordered pizza, which is something we hardly ever do and something which we absolutely always regret.  So here we sit on a Friday evening feeling bloated and slightly soiled and wondering whether at this time of the night there’s any point really trying to redeem the day, and perhaps it’s best just to forget it and wait for tomorrow.  Bleuch.

4 witty ripostes to Toadcast #203 – The Lardcast

    Ah, The Mutton Birds, quality.

Have you got Envy of Angels? That’s a quality record and they shed that mid 90s indie production sound and were much better for it.

    Great band.

Anchor Me is a little OC soundtrack sounding right enough. Haven’t heard it in years. Nice one for giving it a spin!

I do indeed have Envy of Angels – cracking album.

I was close to playing The Heater on this actually, because that’s probably my favourite song on Nature, but ultimately I thought that the playlist was guitary enough, so maybe something a bit quieter was called for.

I quite enjoyed this episode (and I’m still in the middle of it!) but my favorite song has to be by the mutton birds.

    Play more of them!….please. :)

I think this can most certainly be achieved.
