The Kingsbury Manx – Baby You’re a Dead Man

I always wonder how groups can have a largely undistinguished career and yet somehow produce one miraculously great song, only to promptly return behind the parapets whence they came. Or, to put it another way, how can a group of people capable of writing such a terrific track not be able to manage it again?
Are they any Kingsbury Manx fans out there who can disabuse me of this prejudice? I loved this song, bought the album, didn’t quite click with it, and that was the last I heard of them. Are they good? Are they still the same? Have they produced anything quite this excellent again?
Let’s all investigate together: here’s their website, go dig…

[Disclaimer: I am actually on holiday at the moment, probably fucking up my brother's wedding by swearing too much in the best man's speech, so it's all a bit minimal at the moment. Normal service will be resumed after we return on about the 25th July]
